SATURDAY 20th APRIL 2024

We’re back at FINGLE BRIDGE for a brand-new Apres-Midi SPRINGTIME adventure, with more hills, three new routes, and more trail running shenanigans than ever before!

Seriously vertiginous, with some great climbs, (almost touching the sky at the Cranbrook Hill Fort checkpoint), followed by leafy descents through the Big Woods, on some amazing trails around the River Teign valley.

After the initial climb to the fort, and the salubrious meander down through the Big Woods, the 5kmer’s return riverside to the Finish, just a stone’s throw across the river from the Fingle Bridge Inn, while the 17 and 10km runners cross the river below Castle Drogo and onto the Two Moors Way briefly, passing through Rectory Woods and Drewston shadowlands before a steep descent to Fingle (for the 10km Finish).

For the 17km runners there’s a gorgeous long descent back along the Hunters Path, with incredible views of the Upper Teign Valley and Dartmoor. Crossing the footbridge for a second time they pass the hydro station (look out for salmon jumping the falls!), before a final climb onto the Lower Deer Stalkers Path, high above Fingle Bridge, to the final downhill slalom to the finish.

Mouth-watering stuff.. We’re going up into the ether from Fingle Bridge!

Start times: 17km: 4:30pm / 10km: 5pm / 5km: 5pm
